Yes I said it… Autumn checklist 🤦‍♀️

🍁 Autumn-Ready Checklist 🍁

🍂 Wardrobe Refresh – Pull out cozy sweaters, scarves, and boots. Layering is your friend it could make you look like a builder but it keeps you warm.

Warm Beverages – Stock up on tea, hot chocolate, and coffee blends with cinnamon or pumpkin spice that sounds gross to me but I see the costa menu lately and it’s all the rage.

🕯️ Autumn Scents – Candles, wax melts, or essential oils with scents like gingerbread, pumpkin, or salted caramel.

I love gingerbread it’s my go to!

📚 Reading Corner – Create a comfy space with blankets, cushions, and your current book or journal.

🥧 Seasonal Baking – Try baking apple pies, pumpkin bread, or cookies. Bonus points for sharing with friends or you could get them in if anyone refuses to eat things you make because they taste like crap.

🎃 Decorate – Pumpkins, fairy lights, and autumnal wreaths (even if they make my dad think of death) make everything feel cozy.

🌧️ Rainy Day Rituals – Have a favorite mug ready, a playlist, or a movie queue for those grey, rainy afternoons. I like to stock up my tv with true crime that’s ready to roll.

🌰 Nature Walks – Collect leaves, acorns, and pinecones for crafts or just to enjoy the season outside.

Not always my thing but it’s suggestion.

🛁 Self-Care Nights – Baths with bath salts, a cozy set of pjs, and some quiet time to unwind once kids/dogs are in bed or locked in the cupboard!

📅 Plan Cozy Evenings – Roast dinners, early nights with shows you love, or creative hobbies like journaling or chocolate tasting (I made that up but it sounds amaze)

🎶 Autumn Playlist – Curate a mix of mellow, reflective, or nostalgic songs to match the mood. It could be Xmas songs because we are technically only 100 ish days away…..

💌 Connect – Send a message, card, or plan a coffee with someone you’ve missed—autumn is for warmth in all forms.
